I be the Black Krishna,
God on this earth,
I'm raised 5000 years,
Before my first birth,

In this land of freedom,
The formula don't work,
So I'm'a drink and smoke,
Until they burn me to earth...

How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?

Distribution and exposure are easier for independent artists, and overall integrity is maintained by the honesty of the artists held to the same system. This is classic "potential" of online technology is scarier than the reality has to be, so I hope the record industy understands: if they leave it alone the whole business will grow, and a new generation of artists and fans will be created.

Would you sign a record contract with a major label?

*** AVAILABLE NOW ***

Black Krishna - The Bootleg Nine: Revolutionary Weapon

*** FOR FREE ***

Nine unique, mixed and mastered tracks from the full mixtape/album, with a socio-political edge defining the last couple of years.

I took a look at the world recently and thought this song selection was called for, please feel free to download and distribute as widely as you want.

Sometimes teachers in other circles want to see your math, so I have some source material and general philosophy at:

http://blackkrishna.blogspot.com/

Some of the guys I look up to read a lot more than they're given credit for, like 2Pac and Bob Marley among others. If anyone wants to examine my ideas further a few can be found there, I'm also planning on organizing them when my website is up.

It's saying what, among other things, I think needs to be said at the moment. I can only dream, but if I dare, this version is my "Illmatic", the full-album is my "All Eyez On Me"...

If you have any questions, comments, reviews, requests, or whatever, please use the message board or contact me at:

blackkrishna@gmail.com

I'll post any reviews or comments you want in the reviews section, thanks for the feedback.

Peace by peace...
BK

P.S. To any DJ's or beatmakers, acapellas are available upon request.

P.P.S I also feel I should pass on one of the most interesting documentaries I've ever seen, with good-pacing and music, and insane footage of the deterioration of trust in society and proof of some reasons why.

Non-traditional viewing to be sure, you can decide if it's important. I enjoyed it, and objectively feel it does a great job in revealing several questions we are now forgetting how to ask.

There's only one problem: I know for sure a lot of it's real - or at least heavily corrobarated upon further investigation, and the scale of corruption may freak you out or close your mind if you're not cool with it.

"Yolanda! We cool?"

So, if you keep an open mind and an even keel, I strongly recommend watching:

It's detailed, and much of the great history leads up to today. I also just saw the mini-series sequel that was released in March of this year:

Martial Law 9/11: Rise of the Police State

This takes us well into this year - kind of a like a more recent and conspiracist version of Fahrenheit 9/11, with crazy footage the mainstream media never showed.

There's a lot of stuff we should know and we know we don't, and these cover dozens of questions anyone with a conscience would ask if they knew they could.

There are some people we should listen to, and others we shouldn't. I guess everyone can decide for themselves...
